I began my accounting career in Wellington over 30 years ago after graduating with a Bachelor of Business Studies (Accounting) from Massey University. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of clients — from individuals and family trusts to large corporates and everything in between.

Having spent time in a cow shed and fed my fair share of calves, I’ve developed a special interest in the agriculture industry. I understand the unique challenges farming businesses face and enjoy supporting clients in that space. Across all industries, my focus is on building strong client relationships — working closely with people to make sure they can sleep at night, knowing their tax obligations are under control and their business goals are being supported.

Outside the office, life’s all about family. I love spending time with my whānau — especially my gorgeous mokopuna — getting in a round of golf when I can and heading off grid to the beach whenever the chance comes up.

Two of my proudest (and scariest!) moments? Bungy jumping off the Pipeline in Queenstown — and launching Switch Accountants. Both were leaps of faith: one off a bridge, the other away from a steady pay cheque into business ownership. Both terrifying. Both absolutely worth it.
